Nick Arapoglou

About

Nick Arapoglou got his first big break in 1993 when he starred in Mrs. Berner's 3rd grade play as the "Big Bad Wolf(e)" in Little Red Riding Hood. He took a hiatus from acting until 1999 when he was cast in his middle school musical, and hasn't stopped since. 

Nick attended North Springs High School where he focused in performing arts and musical theater. He received honors at the Georgia Theatre Conference (the All-Star Cast Award) for his portrayal of Shroeder in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. He starred in seven shows at North Springs. At the end of his stay there, he received the Coca-Cola Fine Arts Award given to a senior in Atlanta who demonstrates outstanding work in art. 

He received his B.A. in Theater and Drama from Indiana University where he performed in sixteen shows in four years. A few of his favorite roles include: Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, Sheriff Reynolds in Batboy: The Musical, John Hale in Crucible, Orisno in Twelfth Night, and the Bellhop in Lend Me A Tenor. At the end of his stay at Indiana University, he received the Theatre Circle Award, given to one senior who has showed outstanding dedication, talent, and growth in the department. 

After performing at the Brown County Playhouse in Nashville, Indiana, Nick moved back to Atlanta, GA where he recently has been seen on stage as Snoopy in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown at the Button Theatre and Crybaby William/Principal in Junie B. Jones...And a Little Monkey Business at the Legacy Theatre.

He then played the roles of Dick and Andy, and played guitar in Big River at the Theatrical Outfit. (September-October '08) *Suzi Award winning "Best Musical"

Immediately following Big River he was seen on stage at the Georgia Ensemble Theatre where he played Stuart Little in Stuart Little. (October '08)

Feb/March/April '09 -Heinz and Hitler Youth in Georgia Ensemble's ...And Then They Came For Me. 

March/April '09-  Solomon in Speech and Debate at Theatre in the Square. (April '09)

May/June '09- Nelson in "End Days" at the Horizon Theatre. *Suzi Nominated "Best Ensemble"

Sept/Oct '09 - Mr. Monroe in "Bunnicula" with Synchronicity

Nov/Dec '09- Ensemble in "Cinderella" at the Atlanta Lyric Theatre

Nov/Dec '09- Cat in "River Rat and Cat" at Georgia Ensemble Theatre

Jan/Feb '10 -Gavin at Theatre in the Square for "Caught in the Net"

March/April '10 - Peck in "The Storytelling Ability of a Boy" at the Aurora Theatre *Suzi Nominated "Best Lead Actor in a Play"

May/June '10 Assistant Director of "Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" at the Atlanta Lyric Theatre

July/August '10- Laertes in "Hamlet! The Musical!" at the New American Shakespeare Tavern

Sept/Oct '10 - Stubby Barbosa in "How I Became A Pirate" at Theatre in the Square

Jan/Feb '11- Understudy/Swing for Kyle, Brian, and Peter in "Carapace" at the Alliance Theatre

Feb/Mar/April '11- Pete in "Academy" a new musical at Aurora Theatre
