Rose Evans

About

Before moving to Atlanta in 2008, Rose spent 10 years in Philadelphia working as a professional actor.

Most recently Rose played Hester Swane in BY THE BOG OF CATS... at the 14th Street Playhouse. The play, which is loosely based on Euripides' MEDEA, was written by Irish playwright Marina Carr and was produced by Coyote Plays in April 2011.

Her first foray into Atlanta theatre was in Clive Barker's THE HISTORY OF THE DEVIL directed by Jake Dreiling and produced by Coup de Theatre Atlanta in 2010. In that play she portrayed four different characters: a witch, a hussy, a peasant, and Lucifer's wife/consort Lilith.
