Christopher LaBanca


Christopher has worked as a professional actor with several theatre companies in Buffalo, including Theatre of Youth, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Theatre for Change, Irish Classical Theatre, Buffalo Laboratory Theatre and Buffalo United Artists.  He has also performed and taught with Shakespeare in Delaware Park's education troupe, visiting various high schools to perform Shakespeare for and with students, as well as teach workshops.  Additionally, as a playwright, he has written original scripts for the education troupe, blending together different Shakespearean scenes with informative information in a fun way.  For the past two years, he has served as the Director of Drama at SUNY Alfred, taking the first steps toward reviving a performing arts program there.  Some favorite roles include Fool in "King Lear," Professor in "Tracers," and Milo in "The Phantom Tollbooth."
